Serena Guzman
Serena Guzman was born in Santiago, Chile, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned Associate Degrees in Political Science and History from the College of Alameda before pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of California, Davis, one of California's premier public research universities.
With more than 16 years of experience in the immigration legal field, Serena has dedicated her career to helping immigrant families navigate the complex U.S. immigration system. She began her work with local nonprofit organizations, where she focused on community outreach, immigrant advocacy, and expanding access to legal resources throughout California. She also contributed to several successful political campaigns, including the congressional campaign of Congressman John Garamendi, further strengthening her commitment to public service and immigrant communities.
Serena later transitioned to private immigration law firms as a paralegal, where she gained extensive experience handling a wide range of immigration matters before establishing her own immigration consulting practice. Today, she specializes in family-based immigration and consular processing, helping families reunite and successfully complete the immigration process with confidence and peace of mind.
Known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and deep understanding of family immigration procedures, Serena has helped hundreds of individuals and families prepare strong, accurate immigration applications. She is committed to providing reliable support throughout every step of the immigration journey, making what can be a complex process more manageable for the families she serves.
Alfonso Guzman
Alfonso Guzmam, was born in La Paz, Bolivia, and raised in San Francisco. He brings a personal understanding of the immigrant experience to every client relationship. That journey — arriving in a new country and building a life here — is what first sparked a lifelong passion for helping others do the same. Alfonso understands the challenges, opportunities, and aspirations that many individuals and families experience while building a new life in the United States.
Alfonso earned two Associate Degrees from City College of San Francisco and later completed his Bachelor's Degree at San Francisco State University. His educational background, combined with his commitment to public service, has provided him with the knowledge and experience necessary to assist clients from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds.
Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others achieve their goals, Alfonso works both as an Immigration Document Preparer and a Licensed California Realtor. He takes pride in guiding individuals and families through immigration-related paperwork and processes, helping them navigate important milestones with confidence and care. At the same time, he assists clients in pursuing financial stability and long-term success through homeownership and real estate opportunities.
Deeply rooted in the San Francisco community, Alfonso has spent years volunteering and staying actively involved locally, driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to support and a helping hand — especially when navigating something as important as an immigration filing or a first home purchase.
